Get a Taste of Wood, Earth, Plants, and Spice, in a Smooth Blend by Cuba is known for the quality cigars that are produced from some of the best tobacco fields in Cuba. Apart from some long standing companies, such as Cohiba, recent cigar companies such as Cuaba have also started producing cigars. This company produces cigars under the state owned tobacco company Habanas SA. Although the brand itself is pretty new, the name is very old and goes all the way back to when settlers came to Cuba, which is why it has some pretty traditional methods of making cigars incorporated in the production process. One of the standout factors of Cuaba cigars during that time was that cigars were shaped by hand until shapes came out in which assisted the cigar rollers in shaping these cigars by hand.

The name of Cuaba comes from the name of a tree in Cuba and is known because of its burning qualities, which is why it is used to produce cigars. These cigars are very pleasantly aromatic and have very rich and strong flavours, ranging from medium to full strength. These cigars have a very pronounced taste of plants, wood, leather, and spice and can be very pleasant. They are rich and smooth and so lend a pleasing smoking experience. These cigars are special because of their shape, where they are thicker in the middle and converge towards a point at the end of its length. These cigars are an all-perfecto line, which means that these cigars all have the same shape but with a little bit of variation in terms of size and thickness. These cigars have a variety of sizes and range from 3.9 inches to 9.1 inches in length. Because of this reason, these cigars serve the needs of a variety of customers who like the taste but might not want to smoke such a large cigar in one go. For them, the smallest cigars would be best while leisurely smokers who like a long and heavy smoking experience would prefer the longer ones. These cigars have been produced in Cuba since 1968 but this brand was introduced in 1996 to be sold commercially. This was because figurados, of the perfecto shape, used to be smoked till the early 1900s. These cigars are produced in the Pinar del Rio province in the factory of Partagas. The factory that is well-known and associated with the production of these cigars from the factory Romeo y Julieta. The province, Pinar del Rio, is historically known because of its abundant tobacco fields. The tobacco that is used to make cigars usually pick from these fields and pick the top most leaves in order to get the ripest and sharpest leaves to transform them into the best tasting cigars. Most Cuban cigars factories are based in this area. In order to revisit the tradition of smoking and revive it in England, Habanos SA decided to release this brand in England to reawaken the importance of these cigars as well. The Cuaba brand was launched by the Habansa SA president Francisco Linares in 1996 at Hotel Claridge in London on 19th November. The reason this was done to celebrate the figurados because they were losing their popularity and the worth of these cigars was moving towards the background since the 1950s. Figurados were basically cigars that were not of the traditional cigar shape and so were shaped like a torpedo or had a different shape instead of the typical cylindrical shape of the cigars. Therefore, this brand was exclusive to cigars shaped in the perfecto shape. This is one of categories of figurado cigars and the shape that is specific to this line of cigars is that they are slightly think in the middle and then are thinner towards each end of the cigar.
